Roland Racz is a multi-award-winning Canadian jazz pianist, composer and music producer, based in Vancouver, BC. Besides his international professional music career, he has been a passionate music educator throughout his entire career. ​ Roland is a multi-genre musician and has 25 years of teaching experience in numerous genres (classical, jazz, jazz fusion, pop, rock, funk, latin, film music) and fields, such as piano, jazz piano, music composition, music production, songwriting, ensemble, arrangement, music theory, jazz theory. He has taught hundreds of students from all around the world, many of them have become successful music professionals themselves.  ​ Roland's passion for music is infectious, his students develop a lifelong connection with music, no matter how experienced, how young or old they are. Roland grew up and started his professional career in Hungary, he has been a sought-after pianist and keyboardist in the vibrant music scene of Budapest. He shared the stage and toured with some of the finest Hungarian and international jazz & pop artists such as Peter Szendofi, Attila Laszlo, Budapest Jazz Orchestra, Gabor Winand, Tamas Mohai, Rob van de Wouw, Endre-eNerd, Barna Pely, Vera Toth. ​ After relocating to Canada, he quickly became well known in the Ottawa and Vancouver jazz scenes where he has performed and worked with Canadian and American jazz greats such as Roddy Ellias, Vinx, Derrick Gardner, Don Braden, Adrian Vedady, Nick Fraser, Mike Essoudry...  ​ Besides his professional musician career, Roland works as a successful multi-genre composer and music producer.
